I've been collecting stamps for over 20 years and have always wanted to get international stamps. A few weeks ago I came across postcrossing.com and thought this would be a great way to get not only stamps from around the world but also get interesting postcards from people I don't even know. So far I've gotten 4 cards in the mail and I've been scanning them and posting the scans to my flickr account.

I'm using the postcards I send out as an opertunity to send people cards with Star Wars stamps on them :D

iPhone Map Location with Skyhook

Ok this is strange; yesterday my cell service at work was out all afternoon but I was still connected to work wifi. I tried getting my location on my iPhone and it was dead on the spot I set in skyhook for my AP. Today my cell service is back to 5 bars and when I check my location it's back to 10 miles off and very zoomed out.

Is cell tower location being used before AP location?

To the 2 of you who are reading this; are you experiencing anything similar?

My Skyhook location update (still waiting)

It has been 5 weeks since I updated skyhook with Access Point/Location information and my iPhone still does not know my wifi location at home or work. My guess is Skyhook has been updated but Apple has not gotten the new data from Skyhook.
